Kootenay Connection is a mobile and web app that helps locals and visitors discover independent businesses across the Kootenay region of British Columbia. Members buy a VIP Pass to unlock every active offer in the app at every participating business.

Across the Kootenay region of BC, including Creston, Nelson, Trail, Cranbrook, Fernie, Invermere, Golden, Castlegar, Rossland, Salmo, Kaslo, Crawford Bay, and surrounding communities. Founded in Creston. No national chains, only independent Kootenay businesses.

Is Kootenay Connection free to use?

The app is free to download and browse. To redeem offers you need a Kootenay Connection VIP Pass, which costs CAD $50 per year and unlocks every active offer in the app, plus VIP-only offers, priority support, and early access to new offers.

How does the Kootenay Connection VIP Pass work?

One Pass, one annual price, every active offer. The VIP Pass is valid for 12 months from purchase. Each offer may have its own per-user redemption limit set by the business; the Pass itself is unlimited within those per-offer caps.

How do I redeem a Kootenay Connection offer?

Visit a participating business and open the Kootenay Connection app. Tap Redeem Offer, ask staff for their unique 4-digit code, enter it in the app, and show the green checkmark confirmation screen to receive your savings.

How can my business join Kootenay Connection?
