How the $20 works

Every annual VIP membership sold through your group's code is a $50 split: $20 to your group, $30 to Kootenay Connection. Each membership covers one person, and you decide whether to keep the full $20 or pass some of it back to the supporter as a discount.

Keep the full $20

Supporter pays full price. Your group gets $20. Simple max-fundraise mode, great when supporters just want to back your cause.

Give some incentive

Give the supporter a small discount, say $5 off, and your group still keeps $15 per signup. Easier sell, more signups.

What to expect

Whether you're a hockey team, a school PAC, or a registered charity, the program works the same way. Here's how it runs.

You apply, we review

Tell us about your group and pick a code (like FERNIEU13, MTSENTINEL, or NELSONFOODBANK). We review every application personally and reach out to confirm.

You get a link, a code, and a QR poster

Share it in your group chat, your school newsletter, your donor email, or on posters at events. Anyone who signs up through your code is tracked back to your group automatically.

$20 per annual VIP signup

Each VIP membership is for one person. Each time a supporter becomes an annual VIP through your code, $20 is set aside for your group. If you chose to give a discount, that comes off the supporter's price first.

We pay out by e-transfer

We send a single e-transfer to your group's contact. No invoices, no paperwork. If a supporter refunds within 7 days, that $20 is voided automatically, so you never get paid on a sale that didn't stick.

Supporter privacy is protected

You see how many signups came through your code, but never individual names, emails, or personal details. Supporters can back your group without being on a list.
