How the $25 works

Every annual VIP membership sold through your team's code is a $50 split: $25 to your team, $25 to Kootenay Connection. Each membership covers one person, and you decide whether to keep the full $25 or pass some of it back to the supporter as a discount.

Keep the full $25

Supporter pays full price. Your team gets $25. Simple max-fundraise mode, great when supporters just want to back the team.

Give some incentive

Give the supporter a small discount, say $5 off, and your team still keeps $20 per signup. Easier sell, more signups.

We work with kids sports teams across the Kootenays: hockey, soccer, ringette, baseball, lacrosse, swim, dance, ski clubs, and more. Here's how it runs.

You apply, we review

Tell us about your team and pick a code (like FERNIEU13 or ROSSLANDRINGETTE). We review every application personally and reach out to confirm.

You get a link, a code, and a QR poster

Share it on your team's group chat, hand out posters at the rink or field, slip it into the team email. Anyone who signs up through your code is tracked back to your team automatically.

$25 per annual VIP signup

Each VIP membership is for one person. Each time a supporter becomes an annual VIP through your code, $25 is set aside for your team. If your team chose to give a discount, that comes off the supporter's price first.

We pay out by e-transfer

We send a single e-transfer to the team's contact. No invoices, no paperwork. If a supporter refunds within 7 days, that $25 is voided automatically, so you never get paid on a sale that didn't stick.

Supporter privacy is protected

You see how many signups came through your code, but never individual names, emails, or personal details. Supporters can back your team without being on a list.
